If you decided to switch from Android to iPhone, WhatsApp data would be among the most important things you want to transfer. The official way to do it is using the Move to iOS app. But as you know, your iPhone must be factory new or reset to factory settings to pair with it. What if you prefer to keep your data on the iPhone? Is it still possible to pull it off? Actually yes, in this video, I’m going to share the whole process with you guys.
Let’s dive in! The tool we are using here is iCareFone Transfer, a professional social app data transfer software across platforms. So we go to the WhatsApp tab, Make sure we are on the transfer mode by default, Connect the Android phone first, Tap allow when you see a pop-up like this. Then connect your iPhone, Trust this computer if prompted. Now click transfer to begin.
Only the WhatsApp data on your iPhone will be overwritten, it won’t affect the rest of your data. So let’s hit continue to confirm. Here we get the instructions to create a local backup. Let’s get it done. Make sure the back up to google drive option is set as never.
Ok, now we select the backup we just created to continue. Verify the WhatsApp account with encryption key or phone number. Here we can customize the data types we want to transfer. I’m gonna just select all of them to proceed. Now we are going to log into WhatsApp on the iPhone. There’s not data moved over yet.
Don’t worry, let’s get back to iCareFone and click logged in to complete the last step. Your iPhone will restart. Well done, let’s go ahead and check it out! See, your applications and data are still there. And in the WhatsApp, you can see all your chats history, contacts and attachments have been migrated perfectly.
